Bec’s Equine Connection began as a quiet idea, a place where people and animals could meet without expectations, without pressure, and just breathe. I never set out to run a traditional riding school. What I wanted was something softer. A place where nervous beginners, curious kids, and anyone needing a moment of calm could come and feel completely welcome.
What started with a couple of horses and a few well-worn paddocks has grown into something bigger than I imagined not in size, but in meaning. Over time, more animals found their way here: a small herd of curious goats, a few waddling ducks, gentle cows, cheeky chickens, and even a quiet deer or two. Each one brings their own energy, their own sense of calm or playfulness, and their own way of helping people feel grounded.
The horses are still at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re here to ride for the first time, or reconnect after a break you’ll be met with patience, kindness, and a pace that suits you. I work closely with each person to create a session that feels safe, meaningful, and real whether that’s in the saddle, on the ground, or just sitting quietly together with an animal nearby.
There are no uniforms here, no perfect way to “be.” Just muddy boots, deep breaths, and the kind of connection that only comes when you slow down and let the animals set the tone.
This space isn’t about performance, it’s about presence.
And if that’s something your heart needs right now, you’ll fit in just fine.
